Drain linguine mixture reserving 2 tablespoons cooking water; return linguine mixture to saucepot and cover.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"recPrep\"><span>2.<\/span>In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook 4 minutes or until browned, stirring frequently; reduce heat to medium-low. Add garlic, butter and reserved cooking water; cook 2 minutes or until butter melts. Gradually stir in half and half and pepper; heat to a boil. Stir in cheese; cook 1 minute or until cheese is melted and sauce is slightly thickened. Add linguine mixture; toss.
