Caprese Beef Skillet

1 tablespoon Weis Quality Olive Oil
1-1/4 pounds Weis Quality 93% Lean Ground Beef
1 tablespoon Weis Quality Dried Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Weis Quality Salt
1/2 teaspoon Weis Quality Black Pepper
1 can (14.5 ounces) no salt added diced tomatoes with garlic and onion
3 tablespoons balsamic glaze, divided
3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil, divided
1 package (8 ounces) Weis Signature Collection Fresh Mozzarella Cheese Ball, thinly sliced
Toasted baguette slices for serving (optional)

1.Place oven rack 6 inches from broiler; preheat broiler to high.

2.In 10-inch, oven-safe skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add beef, oregano, salt and pepper; cook 4 minutes or until no pink remains, breaking up beef with side of spoon. Remove skillet from heat; stir in tomatoes with their juice, and 2 tablespoons each balsamic glaze and basil. Place cheese over beef mixture; transfer skillet to oven and broil 4 minutes or until cheese is golden brown. Makes about 4 cups.

3.Drizzle skillet with remaining 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze and sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon basil; serve with toasted baguette, if desired.

Recipe Tip:
To toast baguette slices, place slices on a rimmed baking pan, brush with olive oil and broil on high 3 minutes or until golden brown and crisp, turning once.
